As we begin another successful school year, we want to ensure arrival and dismissal run smoothly and safely.
Please review the following important information on traffic flow and designated areas:
Traffic Expectations
Traffic must not block access roads or lanes on SW 142nd Avenue. Both directions must remain open.
Parent Loop & Grassy Area Across from School
- Limited space, will operate first come first served for both arrival and dismissal.
- Once full, no additional vehicles will be allowed.
Overflow Traffic
- Use 142nd Avenue (towards SW 184th Street) or SW 180th Street (both directions).
Designated Parent Waiting Area
- Located near SW 142nd Avenue & SW 180th Street, by the flag poles.
- Parents must remain in this designated area at all times.
- You may watch your child walk in (arrival) or wait for them to walk to you (dismissal).
Dismissal Plans
- Plan A: Use the parent loop for pick up, remain in your car, child walks to your car.
- Plan B: If the parent loop and surrounding areas are full/traffic is stopped beyond the School Police Officer, arrange pickup nearby, such as the flagpoles.
Reminders
School Police, crossing guards, and staff will assist with safety and traffic flow.
Crosswalks must be used.
