Congratulations to Erika Casanola and Rebecca Ruiz on being named Nominees for the 2024 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge (JIC), a program of Society for Science! The Thermo Fisher JIC is the premier Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) competition for 6th-8th grade students in the United States. This is an incredible achievement – only the top 10% of middle school projects nationwide are invited to apply online for the national competition.
